Trail Report

Updated January 26, 2012

Our Frozen Ground ATV Trail System is open! We still do not have enough snow for the groomers to go out. We only received a couple inches this last storm, and now they're predicting mid-thirties this week.  Until a 4" groomed snow base is present, our snowmobile trails will remain closed.

Be cautious over wetlands, some may not be totally frozen.

Due to recent high winds, there are new deadfalls on the trails, being cleared as soon as possible.

PLEASE NOTE:  On July 1 over 76,000 acres in BurnettCounty were severely damaged in a wind storm resulting in the loss of thousands of trees.  The clubs worked many hours clearing trees to prepare trails for the riding seasons.  PLEASE use extra caution this winter season as any high winds could cause weakened trees to go down.  Numerous loggers are clearing trees from county forest, and also from state & private land, sometimes crossing or using our trails with their equipment.

USE COMMON SENSE AND STAY AWARE ON OUR TRAILS THIS WINTER SEASON.
